GENERAL INFORMATION

The Half Marathon begins at ArcelorMittal Dofasco Park, (Map) at Green Mountain Road and First Road East, Stoney Creek ON, and heads down the Red Hill Expressway towards the lake and then along Beach Blvd. The half then turns onto the beautiful waterfront trail and takes you back towards Confederation Park where there will be many spectators waiting to cheer you on.  It is a beautiful fast downhill route!

The half marathon course will be re-certified this year to ensure accuracy and to accommodate a change that the city has asked us to make. A new map will be on the webpage when the changes and certification have been completed.

TIME LIMIT - The only time limit is to be off the Red Hill Expressway by 12:00 noon. For the half marathon that is around the 12K mark.

HALF MARATHON RELAY - The route is the same as the half marathon. The transfer point where the 1st runner hands their bib over to the 2nd runner is at the Barton St. ramp on the Red Hill Expressway. The 1st team member begins the race with the rest of the half marathon participants. The 2nd team member boards a bus at the start line and is driven to the transfer point to wait for their team member. Once the bib has been exchanged, the 1st team member boards the bus and will be driven to the finish line.
