REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEERS MAKE IT HAPPEN

Road races are dependent on scores of people who tirelessly give of their time and effort to make a
given event a success. The Hamilton Marathon weekend is no different. We need hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers to give us a small amount of their time both on and off the course. If you would like to become involved with this event, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteerroad2hope@gmail.com  or register to volunteer online. Many tasks need staffing including: aid stations, placing signage, clean up, registration, medic aid, bike paramedics, marshalling and more.

Listed below are the many jobs that need to be done and the times people are needed. You can register for 1 or more of the time slots. If you don't care where you work, but just want to help, then you can select the "Wherever needed" category.

If you want to run off one of the forms and bring it into the Runner's Den, please click here for the Printable Volunteer Registration Form. Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration, and then closer to the race you will receive details of where and when to meet. THANK YOU!!!!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31

  • Set Up –  8:00am-11:00am;  11:00am-2:00pm
  • Registration – 11:00am-2:00pm;  2:00pm-6:00pm

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1

  • Parking Attendant – 7:00am-11:00am
  • Food Tent –  8:00am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm  
  • Registration Tent –  7:00am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm;  3:00pm-5:00pm
  • Green Team –  8:00am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm;  3:00pm-5:00pm
  • Finish Line –  9:00am – 11:00am;  11:00 – 1:00pm
  • Wherever Needed - 8:00am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm;  3:00pm-5:00pm

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2

  • Parking Attendant at Dofasco  - 5:00am-8:00am
  • Parking Attendant at Confederation  - 5:00am-8:00am;  8:00am-11:00am
  • Clean up Crew at Dofasco -  8:00am-10:00am
  • Baggage Attendant at Start - 5:00am-8:30am
  • Food Tent –  8:00am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm  
  • Race Kit Pick Up at Dofasco - 5:00am-8:00am
  • Green Team –   9:00am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm;  3:00pm-5:00pm
  • Baggage Pick Up Attendant at Finish –   7:30am-11:00am;   11:00am-3:00pm;  3:00pm-5:00pm
  • Finish Line –   8:30am-11:00am;   11:00am-2:00pm
  • Pack Up Team –  1:00pm-4:00pm
  • Wherever Needed –  5:00am-8:00am;  8:00am-11:00am;  11:00am-2:00pm
